Interview with John Bamford (The Jakes)

John Bamford aka jkb20022 is the manager of the team The Jakes, one of the most sucessfull in Smokey since the big move. The Jakes Played in 7-1-1 wich he won a few seasons ago and is now trying his luck on Conference 1. 4th place on the last season wich was his 1st try in this league, but this season is dominating completly with a record of 8 games and 8 wins.
John Bamford is 38 years old, and the SL blog visited him on Irvine in Scotland where he lives with his family.
Let´s read his thoughts.

8 games, 8 wins in 1-1-1 its really a great start. What are your expectations for this season?
Not to be relegated is always my main aim, 8 wins though is a fantastic start but the cautious Jakes will be taking it one game at a time

Its your second season in Conference 1. What failed in your last season 4th place?
Simple answer to that one far to many draws and loses, the second half of season was weird as the top four dropped points all the time

What about Friendly League, you had a bad start, do you think you can still fight for promotion?
Once you make a bad start in these leagues it very hard to get into so my main aim is survival and I will see what I can do the season after

What are your biggest opponents this season?
Anyone who plays against the Jakes are my biggest opponents



Who are the best teams in the server in your opinion?
Anfield Rd Rangers and HarriCam Wanderers

What is the hardest competition to win at the moment?
FL1

Who do you think it will win the real World Cup?
Argentina

What do you do in your free time (except SL)?
Facebook lol and its coming up to concert season so will be going too as many gigs as possible
