Interview with David Mac of Lagerfield about the Friendly League
David Mac is another manager playing for the first time in the biggest league. After several seasons around, he finally got to FL1. In the past David has been very sucessful in the server. In season 74 was considered manager of the Year after winning Champions Shield and Elite Cup in the same season. Also won the Champion of Champions in that season, and 4 times Conference 7.
The Sunday League Blog ask him some questions about the Friendly League.
How does it feel to be on the First Division of the Friendly League for the first time?
It feels good to have finally made it, i just hope i don’t stuff it up and go straight back down.
How far do you think you can go this season?
I am aiming to finish in the top half of the league but will be happy just to avoid relegation.
Who are the favorites in your opinion?
There are so many strong teams it is hard to choose but i think it will be between Byron Park FC, Anfield Rd Rangers, FC Haag Utd and Arkansas Indians.
Who do you think it will go down?
Byron Park FC, Anfield Rd Rangers and Arkansas Indians!
Really, i have no idea who will go down. I think a good start will be vital in FL1.
What team would you like to see more in FL1?
Lagerfield ;-) And maybe another 1 or 2 conference 7 teams. I think Deca should ditch Cubana and get his Aston Villains in the friendly league instead.

My objective is to win it. Failing that , i would like to finish in the top 4.
The usual teams will be there like Aston Villains, Blue Star Knights and Stonehenge. FC TRUE BLUES are also a contender for the title after winning their first 6 games of the season.
Other teams to keep an eye on are Dudley Ogres, LosingCrazyPussycats and Lone Rangers.

Interview with Luke from South City - First season in FL1
I know Luke since some years ago, in the old times on Planetfootball server. On that time pf was the stronger one for sure, and it was in that server that started the first Friendly League. In the season that i reached the First Division, i had a great run for the title, finishing as runner-up. Do you know who was the winner? Yes, it was Luke, i remember like it was yesterday.
Here, in this server, its his first season in the major league of the FL. He started playing a little bit later than everybody else, so took a few seasons more to reach FL. But here he is.
Luke has already written his name on the roll of honour in Smokey, winning Conference 6, and also the Managers Table. The Sunday League blog visited him, and made him some questions about his expectations for the first season in FL1.
How does it feel to be in the First Division of the Friendly League for the first time?
To be honest its about time(only joking)Nah its hell of a trek to get there but yeah i'm happy to be side by side some of the greats of SL
How far do you think you can go this season?
In FL 1 or in general....i'll start with FL 1..to stay in there is my aim for this season and maybe win it next season ;)..As for in general would be nice to break my cup hoodoo of getting to quarter or semi then losing..
Who are the favorites in your opinion?
Have you seen the teams that are in there, is there a favourite?If you go by last few seasons then Nick(Anfield)has all the pressure of being favourite..There are too many good teams for me to pick one
Who do you think will go down?
Don't mind aslong as its not me
What team would you like to see more in FL1?
Just for being legends in SL and good friends since SL pretty much started...Corinthian Clowns and Benfica would like to see them both back in FL 1
And about your Conference...what is your objective, and who are the favorites?
To try and set up tactics when im not half asleep which is kinda hard these days..I would say Harricam and Ghandis are favourites but there has been a different champion for the last 4 seasons so anyone can win it..Its a Top Top conference to be in!!!
What's your feelings about the game at the moment?
Changes from day to day sometimes i like it sometimes i hate it but i always come back for more..
