FL3- SEASON 13

Smokey FL3 -Season 13

1. American Misfits (larry) Finished 7th in the very highly competitive 8-1-1 last season. With a few new faces and most players around the 3 seasons old they are still not quite as strong stat wise as the misfits of old but a very tough team to beat. Having been recently relegated from FL2 missing out by 4 points they will be hoping to bounce straight back up. However with the strength of teams in this league it may be a long shot this season.

2. DonkaLonk Fc (jt21) 12th in 1-1-1 after not turning up ( I assume) for most of the season. Relegated from FL2 winning only 5 from 30 games it has to be the worst season on paper from the Donks. If they turn up after their nice break then they will be a contender for the title. With a player declining already and another couple soon to join them they need to return soon and get their reserves sorted out.

3. Dunstablians (cha4zz) Promoted from FL4 only 3 points off of the winners in a tightly contested league last season. It went to the last day of the season for promotion and the title and earned a well deserved craic at FL3.Cha4zz led his team to finish 4th in 8-1-1 which was a very good achievement with the level of competition. A strong set of stats throughout the squad and have the potential to beat any team.

4. Livermark (dannie) Danny and his men finished a disappointing 10th in 6-1-1 however there have been a few new faces in the squad of late. 6-1-1 is very tough at the moment so don’t let 10th position fool anyone, they will still be very difficult to beat. I can’t see they will be strong enough to get promoted and could be in for another scrap further down the table. They just stayed in FL3 by 1 point in the end last season and will be hoping not to leave it that close again this season.

5. Corinthian Clowns (munkeespuzz) TY Jones the Legend himself seems to be back in the game after 2 seasons out of the top flight they are back in 8-1-1. Not the strongest squad in the league but still very good. They lifted the FL4 title but it was close and in the end only won it by 2 points. With the experience and the squad they will be near the top, but will it is very difficult to say how high up they will finish.

6. Queenslander (wod_doctor) Finished just 4 points off of promotion in season 12 of FL3 and will be hoping to be in contention come the end of season 13. They finished 7th in 1-1-1 but some 20 points off of the winners and I think they will have their work cut out this season to get near a promotion spot.

7. Stonehenge FC (garageflower) Had a very good season in 7-1-1 finishing in 2nd but couldn’t get anywhere the superb Aston Villains. They finished a mediocre 8th and they will be hoping for a better showing this coming season. They have a strong squad but may need to replace a couple more players throughout the season so may find it hard to mount a serious promotion charge.

8. Real Kellyville (davo) A very disappointing 14th in 3-1-1 last season saw Davo drop to 3-1-2 after finishing in 5th place the season before. They did beat the drop by 3 points in FL3 and live to fight this coming season. I can’t quite put my finger on why they had such a disappointing season as their stats look pretty strong? Davo will be hoping for much better both in the FL and League and should stay clear of relegation this season.

9. Fivehundred or Less (Basketcase) They finished 7th in 6-1-1 but there was little to separate 3rd to 8th. South city run away with the title and Harricam comfortably finished in 2nd. With plenty of new faces in the side and a couple more players that may need changing they may struggle this season to keep out of the drop zone. However Basketcase has surprised many before and will enjoy the challenge of beating the big spenders with this low budget team.

10 screaming vengeance (name) The “surprise” winner of 4-1-1 last season ! An excellent achievement from Gavin in his first season in the top flight. Domestically they only know how to finish 1st with 7 league wins in a row. 5th place last season in FL3 only 2 points off the promotion spot and will be looking to take this title. With the success they have found of late they have to be one of the favourites and will be hoping to succeed where they just missed out.

11 LosingCrazyPussycats (turkey21) 7th in 7-1-1 after yet another season of too many draws. The draw specialists only lost 5 games all season the second best record in 7-1-1 but with 15 draws it saw them neither challenge for the title or look like dropping out of an ICC spot. Relegated from FL2 by just 1 point in the end and they will probably struggle to get back up this season. There are a lot of teams with stronger stats in this league but this team is very hard to beat.

12 KAKAMUNDO ATHLETIC (momo) - Momo finished 7th in 3-1-1 in his first season back after being relegated 2 seasons before. 4th in FL3 last season & like screaming vengeance only 2 points short of making a promotion spot. The player stats are fairly strong but they may struggle to find a promotion spot this time as the competition is so strong. Momo is back and who knows what to expect !

13 MADONE (craigbh) 5th in 4-1-1 last season but way short of having a chance at the title. 10th in FL3 last season 5 points clear of relegation and only 11 points off of promotion. Again another fairly strong squad and there season could go either way, depending on a bit of luck and good AT’S.

14 INTER STELLA D.C. (manofthebeer) 2nd in 4-1-1 only 3 points behind the winners Screaming Vengeance who are also in this league. If they finish above them in this league then they may well finish top. They seem to have picked up some form again and will be looking to improve on their 11th position last year big time. Can manofthebeer keep his team sober and together to put in a promotion charge ? my opinion is no.

15 The Rags (chiiiiiiiii) Finished 3rd in 2-1-1 but way off of the winners ( no prizes for guessing who won conference 2). They finished 9th in the very tightly pact middle order in FL3 last season. Some new players in the squad and will struggle this season but are capable of anything on their day. My prediction is they will struggle this season and at best finish mid table.

16 I love fulham (shellyboy100) – Last but not least my team who finished 7th in 5-1-1 after being in with a title shot all season with 2 games to go. Overall the stats are very strong with the defence being the weakest link. Promoted from FL4 finishing 2nd behind the clowns was a good achievement after a very slow start in season 12. Not sure how this season is going to pan out but on paper I should be nearer the top then bottom.
