The Champions Shield Final: The Jakes 2 - 0 West Yorkshire Boys

Second final in the season for West Yorksire Boys. After the defeat against Byron Park, Richard was beaten again, this time by The Jakes.
In a longball game WYB opted by a 3-5-2 formation with wings, but in the final report we can see that Jakes dominated almost all the game. Two goals scored, at minutes 39 and 60, were enough for the first major win to Mr. John Bamford. Conference 1 winner last season, and this time winner of the CS. First major for John.

Elite Cup Final: West Yorkshire Boys 0 - 1 Byron Park F.C.

West Yorkshire Boys in his first final, against one of the teams who has been dominating in the past seasons.
A lot of managers have told about Byron Park that is one of the best teams at the moment. Fr3nchy prove it in this game, a very close one in tactics, but he was the one who scored the only goal of the game. Goal that was scored when tactics were even.
Second major for fr3nchy, and Richard Hird still have a chance to win this season.

Conferences - End of the Season

Last night were played the last games of the season, so like usual its time to do a little review.

Conference 1
One of the most amazing battles that we have seen in the server since the big move, was played in this Conference this season. With two days to go there was still 4 teams with chances to be the champion, and the winner is David Walker and his Hollowlegs. David won thanks to goal average, agains mr. Ty Jones and his Munkeespuzz Angels. The Rods and Super Imps finished not very far away.



Conference 2
It wasn´t yet this time that someone took the title from Nick. For a while he saw his position in trouble, when Northwest Rags came close to win, but Anfield did very well in the last part of the season. Nick has now 6 titles in a row.
Northwest Rags lost the second place in the end of the season to Cubana Villains, wich this way repeated his second place of last season.



Conference 3
There´s no doubt that Byron Park is the team to beat in Conference 3. This time he hasn´t any rivals and the season was a long walk in the Park to mr. Frenchy.
Interesting was the battle for the second place, wich was won by Chasing Memories, his best place for the last 5 seasons. Ramsgate Reds also did very well finishing in third. Mmmrs Phoenix Pigs is very regular, because for the 7th time in a row he finishes between 3rd and 6th.



Conference 4
Floriana FC must have felt really bored across the season, especially because the previous champ Communist Concubines didn´t log in for most of the season. 15 points in the lead was too much, but very well played by Spiteri. Third division title for mr. Spiteri.
The best of the rest was manuck with his THE ELITE. He also did a confortable season in the race for 2nd place. Kookaburra made his 56th season in top flight and finished 3rd place, but 20 points behind the winner.



Conference 5
In times this was one of the hardest Conferences, but it seems that those times are gone. It seems that half of the teams who played this season are leaving the game or taking a break, or maybe just holliday.
After 2 seasons without winning, Biscuit Barell did it again and took his 5th Conference title. Across the season he always had a lot of fight from two teams, Chittle Chiefs, who made his best season until now, and YourHavingaLaff F.C.
The amazing thing is that those three teams finished in the top 10 of the managers table.



Conference 6
HarriCam must be specialist in losing titles in the last minute. Well, he did it again...
This season was a two horse run since the first day, between Billy Irwin and Nijinsky, and the Horse who won in the end is Hoarse Whisperers. The diference between those two never was superior to 2/3 points. With a draw on the last day from Billy, Hoarse Whisperers wons his second title in a row.
A good surprise came from nofirkinchance fc, on his first season on 6-1-1. Third place, but 17 points behind the top 2.
We have to say that Hoarse Whisperers won on goal average, just by 7 goals.



Conference 7
This is the Conference where newcomers like to win on their first season.
This time was my old partner from planetfootball Nish who did it, managing Blue Star Knights. Lone Rangers, another newcomer did great too, finishing second, in front of Lagerfield and Aston Villains.



Conference 8
This season seems a lot like last won. FC Haag Utd made a perfect season, winning the league with no defeats and just 4 draws, and thanks to that winning the managers table. Completely deserved. Daniel also won the Champions of champions and The ICC.
SL Benfica, like last season, finished 2nd. Also a confortable season, very far away from the leader (14 points), but 12 points in front of Rickys Rovers.
26 points between 1st and 3rd...

Champions of Champions 76

Another season of the Champions of Champions have finished yesterday, and the great winner was FC Haag Utd, taking the title to Conference 8 for the second time.
This season was a little disappointed because two of the Champions didn´t log in much.
Byron Park also played very well, finishing in second place, and Anfield was third.

Champions Shield and Elite Cup: Semi Finals

So, finally we know the teams who will be involved in the majors finals, and the big surprise came from West Yorkshire Boys, managed by Richard Hird. He´s been doing really well, and managed to get into two big finals, Champions Shield and Elite Cup.
On his way, Richard beat teams like Blue Star Knights (2 times), FC Haag Utd, The Borg, Ocean City Orioles, and many others.
For the two finals, he will have to beat other two of the best teams: The Jakes and Byron Park. For this two big finals, i would say that Richard is not the favorite for any of this games, but at this stage anything can happen. One thing is for sure, he will be playing in both finals.

Interview with Richard Hird (West Yorkshire Boys)

Richard Hird is one of the coolest surprises in the current season, and a possible candidate to the title of Team of the Year.
Currently he has won FL3 with a advantage of 5 points, and he is on the semi-finals of the Champions Shield and Elite cup.
His biggest game was when he eliminated FC Haag Utd od the Champions Shield in the quarters.
Richard is 24 years old and is currently on the army. The Sunday League reporter visited him and made him some questions.

How was this season for you?
the best season so far really happy , will be better if get in any of finals of elite cup and champions shield, and maybe winning !

Were you expecting to be in semi-finals of the Elite and Champion Shields this season?
not when i had fc haag utd in champ shield thought i was a gonna, but if u set up u tatics right anything can happen . :)

Do you think you can win any of them?
yes why not i got this far

What was your hardest game?
fc haag utd in the quarters was really lucky to get through, me goalkeeper was my saviour

How did you prepare your team to beat teams like The Borg and FC Haag Utd?
try not luck to much in tatics just went on instinct ,, i think u can get to lost in tatics asspect.

Your 3 seasons away to 4-1-1, do you think you challange the title in this Conference?
i think i could compete now but ill have to replace a few players soon, but ill think id be a usful addition to 4-1-1 to make it stronger when i get there

What about Friendly League, were you expecting to win Division 3 with so much style?
not at all !!!! i was thinking try mid table and dont get relegated.

What was your biggest opponet?
i don t know about that but me biggest gamein fl3 was when i beat bush wanderders 2-0, top of the table clash was a real 6 pionter.

What are your expectations for next season in FL2?
same survive !

Do you think you can reach division 1 in the Friendly League?

Friendly League - season 10 - Final Tables

The brand new Friendly League Champion is Anfield Rd Rangers. Third time that Nick wins the most important private league around, and the only one that entered in this league since the first season of the Competion.
Also a great season for Byron Park F.C., who did his best league finish in this competition, and HarriCam once again didn´t win but finished in the top. Its the 5th time that Billy finishes in the top 5.
Several teams were rebuilding, so it didn´t surprised that some big one got relegates. Oh yes, they are all big ones.
Two teams from Conference 8 are going down, Rickys Rovers, after two seasons in this league, Lough Derg, runner up two seasons ago, and Hoarse Whisperers from Conference 6.
Two teams are coming back to this league, Arkansas indians and The Rumour Mill, and a newcomer SL Benfica. Oh yes, its me.

I.C.C. Final: Bush Wanderers 0 - 1 FC Haag Utd

FC Haag Utd, best team last season, and one of the favourites to win again, finally won his first major.On the other side was Terry Beach, ex-liverpool server manager, who reach the final for the first time.
Game played in longball, so both used 5-2-3. Tactics were also very close, 30 minutes for each side, but the winning goal came just 4 minutes till the end of the game.
Unlucky to Terry, the win could have gone to either way, but the Conference 8 Champion was the luckiest.

Smokey FL1 - Season 10

Anfield has the title secured with 2 games to be played. I guess that at the moment the interest is to know who is going down and who is not.
Rickys Rovers is relegated, and Lough Derg probably will go down too. The third place of relegation will give a big fight. Jedi Knights has been doing a great second half of the season but he is still two points behind relegation zone.

Champions Shield - Quarters

Last night were played the quarters of the Champions Shield.
After being eliminated in the Elite Cup, also in the quarters, FC Haag Utd wasn´t enough strong to beat West Yorkshire Boys, who scored the final goal on extra-time.
Communist Concubines haven´t log in for his game against one of Mick's team.
Blue Star Knights, who last season got to the Final of the CS but forgot to log in, is also in the semi-final, and can get his second final in a row in this competition.
I believe the favourite is now The Jakes, who beat Attack Attack Reserve just by one goal.

After my 100% record in the Elite Cup q/f(all wrong by the way)here are my predictions for the Champions Shield.

Wed, 18 Aug 2010 caschetto doro vs Blue Star Knights

The first game brings together Roberto's caschetto doro and Nishal's Blue Star Knights.Although in 4-2-2 caschetto are yet to lose a game in the league this season and on the way to the Q/f beat Byron Park.Nishal's Knights are in their 1st season in 7-1-1 and 2nd only on goal difference.I have to go with the Knights.


Wed, 18 Aug 2010 West Yorkshire Boys vs FC Haag Utd

Richard's Yorkshire Boys are allready in the S/f of the Elite Cup after beating the Knights.Although in 4-1-4 he has yet to lose a game and will in a few seasons get to 4-1-1 i am sure.DK's Haag are regarded by many as the best team on Smokey and is top of 8-1-1 by 13 points and is yet to lose a league game.Unfortunately for DK i tipped him to win his Elite Q/f.A very difficult game to call but i go for FC Haag.


Wed, 18 Aug 2010 The Jakes vs Attack Attack Reserve

The Jakes managed by John Bamford are another team in the S/f of the Elite Cup having disposed of Barcelona in the Q/finals.Although 7th in 1-1-1 he has a very impressive trophy cabinet.Attack Attack Reserve are managed by Ting Buyung and are 9th in 3-1-1.They beat Winter Milan in the last round,but i have to go for The Jakes.

The last q/f brings Ham manged by Mick Edwards and Communist Concubines managed by Alek is.Ham are currently 5th in 5-1-2 and are in a 5 way battle for the top spot.Alek's Concubines are 15th in 4-1-1 and involved in a close relegation battle.This is probably the hardest one to predict but i opt for Mick's Ham.

I.C.C. - Semi-Finals

Another cracking game in this round, probably one of the most important in the season.
Once again FC Haag Utd involved and against other of the best, HarriCam Wanderers. HarriCam tried something diferent, i don´t know if it was because of injuries, or if was really trying a new formation. Billy started the game using 5-3-2 with wings. The game was a lot closer in tactics, only after minute 60 someone took advantage. With two goals in the last 30 minutes, Daniel was the luckiest on extra-time and is on the next round.
Terry, manager of the Bush Wanderers is the other guy who passed to the Final. Against Donkalonk he dominate the game completly after the minute 30, and won by two goals. Fair Win.

Its the first major final for both teams, but the Croation team is still in competion in all majors, and its really playing well. Zero defeats in all the oficial games, wich is trully amazing at this stage. Since the big move no one has won all the three majors, but lets see if this time someone beats the record.

Champions Shield - Round 5

In this 5th round of the Champions Shield there was a game who took all attention.
Maybe the two best teams at the moment were playing against each other: Anfield Rd Rangers and FC Haag Utd. Also a game wich had a lot of importance on the race for the "Team of the Year" title, and for this Anfield would give a great step if he won it because he seems to be wining the Friendly League. A title very important to choose the "team of the Year".
The Croatian manager showed all his style, winning the game with 60 minutes of advantage, and scoring two goals against nothing.
The only team i can see capable of beating Daniel are The Jakes, who won in this round with a goal in extra-time against CHELSEA FC X.

Conference tables after day 18

18 games have been played and its time to see hoe the things are in the Conferences.
At the moment there are 3 Conferences with very intersting battles, but there are 5 where the leaders are going very confOrtably.
On Conference 1 is DonkaLonk Fc the new leader, with Hollowlegs still on his trace.
On Conference 6 is the battle wich is becoming more interesting season after season, between HarriCam Wanderers and Hoarse Whisperers. Without any doubts the best teams in the league.
Conference 7 looks also very interesting, with Aston Villains reaching the first place and Blue Star Knights doesn´t seem to give up.
I´m starting to believe that in some Conferences the champion is almost found. Anfield Rd Rangers on Conf 2, Byron Park on Conf 3, Floriana on Conf 4, and FC Haag Utd on Conf 8, where he has only lost two points, and is in a great position to take the managers table.
I only have some doubts in Conference 5, where Biscuit Barrell is leading by 5 points, but at the moment there a lot of teams here not logging in.

Smokey Doubles - Season 8

Another season in the doubles have finished, and once again the winner is the team formed by HarriCam and Anfield. This time the battle was closer, and they ended just with 4 points in advance against Arkansas & Rickys Rovers. Third place gone to the Croatian double, FC Haag United and Down and Dirty.

Carl Jones (Lough Derg)

How is the season going in FL1?
Well not so good this season mainly due to replacing at least half of my team and as I won't pay extortionate amounts for good players I tend to buy young and build up a good team over the coming years, so will be a few seasons until I am competitive again.

Who´s the favourite in your opinion?
I have a feeling it will be Anfields again...top player!

What´s the secret to be competing in the hardest competition in the server?
Not sure about secrets but leaving no stone unturned when setting up games for this league is imperative...it is one tough and unforgiving Division

What´s the best team in the server at the moment for you?
For me it is Haag who is currently obliterating all that comes before him in Conference 8 at the moment!

What was the biggest surprise and disappointment for you this season?
Benfica sitting in second spot in Conference 8 ( only joking mate ), I will be disappointed if I go down going to be a struggle to stay up!

How do you think Sunday League is at the moment?
I try to not take the game too serious or it can spin your head a bit but the sooner they have an update the better!

Daniel Kravarovic (FC Haag Utd)

How is the season going in FL1?
I'm struggling at the moment to even get a win or two. It's FL1 so you never know how it may turn up at the end, last season I was trailing by over 10 pts with 10 games left and still managed to take it. This time however, it looks a bit harder, so I'm going to aim for the top 5 and hope for the best.

Who´s the favourite in your opinion?
Although Harricam was so close to the top and I'd like to see him take it, my money's on Nick because he definitely knows what it takes to win it, but Byron just might be the team of the moment so it looks like it's going to be a close finish.

What´s the secret to be competing in the hardest competition in the server?
Consistency. Perfect team would be the one that changes two 10 seasoned players every season.

What´s the best team in the server at the moment for you?
Hard to name one, so I'll name three: Byron Park, Anfield RD Rangers and Harricam Wanderers. Lucky me - I get to play them next in the ICC, Champions shield and the Elite cup. :)

What was the biggest surprise and dissapointment for you this season?
Don't know, haven't noticed either yet, perhaps the season finish will bring some.

How do you think Sunday League is at the moment?
Still challenging, although a lot of managers left due to the fact that update was scheduled for 08.

Richard French (Byron Park F.C.)

How is the season going in FL1?
We are having a good season.
We are mixing it with the best teams on the server and FL1 is undoubtedly the best league format the server can provide.
If you can stand your ground against this calibre of teams you are doing well.

Who´s the favourite in your opinion?
Well you have to look at the current positions and I can't see far past Nick and Billy who are very consistent in general and are picking up points on a regular basis.
You need a bit of fortune for one of these sort of teams to have a bad run but asking for both of them to have a bad run is a little optimistic.
With Byron Park also in the hunt it makes for an interesting run in...


What´s the secret to be competing in the hardest competition in the server?
Lol I love this question.
Player attributes are paramount. In addition you need to be totally aware of the basics of the game and abide by them or you will compromise your match performances and hinder your development as a strong squad.
Experience and knowledge of the game is important and comes to most with a bit of time and practice.
Tactics are important when combined with a strong rated team. The right combination is what can decide a match result against equally strong opposition and FL1 provides the perfect platform for pitting your wits against the best.
Lastly, I think Nick mentioned this and really this should fit under basics. Make sure your team develops in stages and maintain a strong squad, I've seen so many teams develop at the same time and decline at the same time as a result, leaving them unable to compete at the top level!

What´s the best team in the server at the moment for you?
Haag are playing very well and always give me a very hard game. The same can be said for Anfield and Harricam but I think Haag edge it on consistency.

What was the biggest surprise and dissapointment for you this season?
I was unfortunate to go out of the ICC and Champions Shield to teams I should have beaten. That's the way it goes though and I have to look to maintaining my position in those sort of competitions on a regular basis. Sometimes a lapse of concentration can cost you dear but more important is to remember your mistakes!

How do you think Sunday League is at the moment?
I'm disappointed that Cat Games can't make more of an effort to keep us customers updated with information regarding tweaks, idea's and the new version.
For a start it put's to bed theories some managers come up with regarding poor form or match results. Also everyone needs a morale boost and with minimal feedback from Cat Games it would be nice to be able to have a input towards the new version and it's development.
I'm continually told it's in the pipeline and Junior will make an announcement when he's ready!?
Well Junior if your reading this several months into the year and still no comment...

John Rickman (Rickys Rovers)

How is the season going in FL1?
Not very well, struggling to find any consistency which you definately need, some great teams in this league, but you would expect that at this level. I will do my utmost to extracate myself brilliantly from the mess I have got myself in.

Who´s the favorite in your opinion?
The top 3 are doing great, but watch out for that crazy person and the Haag. However I think Billy will do it this season. ( no offence meant to Nick or Frenchy )

What´s the secret to be competing in the hardest competition in the server?
Patience and luck, your team coming together at the right time as others fall apart due to rebuilding.

What´s the best team in the server at the moment for you?
Chico a very difficult question to answer, it changes each season; however Anfield, HarriCam, Byron and Haag are taking my eye at the mo. If you asked me a few seasons ago, Arkansas and Misfits would have been listed. Your doing well as well Chico, good to see you back at the top m8.

What was the biggest surprise and disappointment for you this season?
No surprises, bit annoyed at my exit from a couple of cup comps and my FL1 performance so far; however nice to win today against Haag so things might be getting better.

How do you think Sunday League is at the moment?
It has lost a lot of managers, where is that update, desperately needed to inject new enthusiasm into the game, it just needs a bit of attention to stop these bugs which affect us all, I get hit by loss of fitness, morale and gelling about 3 times a season, does your head in when you get to finals etc and your teams fitness is all in the 70's.

How is the season going in FL1?
Well After a very poor start I've dragged my way up to mid table and am looking for a few more wins to secure safety from relegation!

Who´s the favorite in your opinion?
This season has turned into a 3 horse race between Anfield rd Rangers, Byron Park and Harricam Wanderers. Any 3 of them could win it but my guess is with Anfield this season.

What´s the secret to be competing in the hardest competition in the server?
Lots of credits to get you good players lol, and those that have time available to study tactics will do well.

What´s the best team in the server at the moment for you?
I'd have to say FC Haag Utd, theyve had a very successful past couple of seasons and seem to be taking 8-1-1 with extreme ease again this season

What was the biggest surprise and disapointment for you this season?
My biggest surprise is that the dodgy match engine hasn't let me down in 4-1-1 yet and I'm still unbeaten. My dissapointment is that due to last seasons failure I was unable to compete in the champions shield and elite cup for the first time in a while.

How do you think Sunday League is at the moment?
If I'm honest I'd have to say rather tiresom and boring, I'm getting fed up with the cost of maintaining a competitive team with very little to play for. I may have to let holiday mode deal wiwth my team in a few seasons to get a good break from the game!

How is the season going in FL1?
Not too bad, im just happy that i look to be safe for another season, still plenty of games to go though.

Who´s the favorite in your opinion?
Nick is doing very well only incurring one loss so far, so my moneys on him, but the usual suspects arent far behind so hes going to have to keep it up.

What´s the secret to be competing in the hardest competition in the server?
In my opinion, its the experienced managers who put the effort in tactically are the most successful, which is why iv never won sod all, but also a lot of it is luck i.e. amount of longball games, injuries and AWOLS, etc.

What´s the best team in the server at the moment for you?
With so many really awesome teams around its hard to choose one, i mean, everyone in FL1 shold be immensely proud of their teams, but FC Haag in my opinion are just riding the crest of a wave right now, although not doing the best in FL1 i reckon theyll remain top manager and take the conference 8 title. Also my pick for the ICC this season.

What was the biggest surprise and disapointment for you this season?
Surprised at how well i seem to be doing right now, its my best chance for a conference title, but the dissappointment is that in the unlikely event i do win, my team wont be up to scratch to defend it very well next season, the TM has been so hard to crack recently.

How do you think Sunday League is at the moment?
my enthusiasm for the game hasnt dwindled that much, but iv been quite busy in the real world and havent had much time to continue with the Crazy Cups or the Universal Cup which always kept my focus on the game and very active in the forums. Alhough i can see where the majority of managers are coming from. it does need tweaked, and as Ninjinsky says, they could start with 5-2-3!

How is the season going in FL1?
Surprisingly well. After the stinker I had last season I was hoping for a top 5 finish. Being top at the half way point is fantastic.

Who´s the favorite in your opinion?
No outright favourite at the moment as its too close to call. Richard, Billy and Brian are breathing down my neck and just a couple of results could change the entire top four. Daniel and Dave could still have a say in things also.

What´s the secret to be competing in the hardest competition in the server?
You must balance your squad. Alot of sides build all at once and consequently they end up with a cracking team for a couple of seasons before they all start to decline and they then have to have a massive rebuild. To be consistent you have to manage your team building so this never happens.

What´s the best team in the server at the moment for you?
The team who's a constant pain in my side is Billy's HarriCam Wanderers. Fortunately he's my partner in crime in the Smokey Doubles.

What was the biggest surprise and dissapointment for you this season?
Not sure about the biggest surprise but the biggest disappointment has been the transfer market...still a farce.

How do you think Sunday League is at the moment?
I'm still enjoying it as much as ever. Transfer market is a pain......just can't get a decent midfielder! But I guess I'm lucky that I have a load of credits and can at least compete for 10000 players.
What makes this game so enjoyable though is the hard work and commitment of those that create and maintain all the cracking private leagues. The organisation required to keep the FLs going is immense and much appreciated. The Blog is also brilliant and adds that something extra...almost like our very own footie suppliment. Keep it up chico yoy're a star!

How is the season going in FL1?
I had a good start and was right up there with the leaders probably only 3 games ago but since then I have lost 3 in a row 1-0 and now find myself mid table. Thats the thing with FL1 everyone is capable of beating each other. Its so unpredictable.

Who´s the favorite in your opinion?
I always say Anfield whenever they are in competitions, he's alsways consistantly up there challenging. His history shows that he has been consistant ever since the merger. Although I do think Harricam are strong this year and could puch him all the way.

What´s the secret to be competing in the hardest competition in the server?
There is no secret as such its just trying to make sure your players morale and gelling are up to 100% as much as you can and try and avoid as many injuries and awols as you can. All the sides in FL1 have great player stats so you need to try and get the edge with little things like that.

What´s the best team in the server at the moment for you?
Again I would prob say Anfield and Harricam. Most of the top sides on here now have made their way to FL1 and you only have to look who's top to see who's the best.

What was the biggest surprise and dissapointment for you this season?
That I'm struggling down in 8th place in my conference!!! I dont recall ever finishing outside 3rd place in my league before in all the years Ive been playing this game!! Its been a combination of alot of longball matches and teams guessing the AT spot on!! Lets just hope its a one off season!!

How do you think Sunday League is at the moment?
I think we all have an opinion on this and would say everyone feels very much the same way that the new version is very much overdue. This server now for me is just plodding along hoping the update is around the corner. The banter on the forums etc and even the settingup of matches isnt as important as it used to be. I think everyone on here is ready to get their teeth stuck into something new now to give us all a new lease of life!!

How is the season going in FL1?
My season started very good, but I can't keep the results going my way with a declining squad. Now I hope to avoid relegation.

Who´s the favorite in your opinion?
Anfield Rd Rangers and Byron Park F.C. have a lead on the rest now, but HarriCam Wanderers is not too far beyond. I don't think anyone else can catch all three of these, and bignick is probably the favorite to win it.

What´s the secret to be competing in the hardest competition in the server?
All the managers in FL1 are really good, so you need to have a good squad. And you have to be a good manager that logs in twice a day.

What´s the best team in the server at the moment for you?
I think FC Haag Utd was the best last season, and until the majors are finished, I can't say that anyone has taken over.

What was the biggest surprise and disappointment for you this season?
The biggest surprise is that Ty (manager of Munkeespuzz Angels, Ravens of England, A.C.Upstreet and Corinthian Clowns) seems to be back, playing better than in a long time. The disappointment is that so many good managers are leaving the game.

How do you think Sunday League is at the moment?
Sunday League is the same as it has been for several years, only better because the competition between managers are tougher than it was before the merge. My problem is that I can no longer spend the time and money required to be really competitive.

How is the season going in FL1?
it's going ok. I still have a chance of winning my first FL1 title, so i'll keep trying my best until the end, but there are 2 great teams ahead of me, so it will be really tough, but you never know....

Who´s the favorite in your opinion?
I always think that the favourite is the team in first place! They will always have the advantage, and everyone else is waiting for them to slip up.

What´s the secret to be competing in the hardest competition in the server?
never underestimate anyone - they can all beat you on any day, and do your homework!

What´s the best team in the server at the moment for you?
He's a little bit off the pace in FL1 this season, but FC Haag have been handing out beating to everyone for the last couple of seasons. Anfield Rd Rangers are consistantly brilliant over many seasons. I'd say they are probably the best at the moment.

What was the biggest surprise and dissapointment for you this season?
Biggest dissapointment for me would be The Rods. I would have expected him to be, at the very least, challenging for Conf 1 and FL1. He's a top manager, but seems to be struggling a bit at the moment. Biggest surprise is me!!! Still going well in FL1 and my conference, and with 5 season 1 players in the ranks. I keep expecting to wake up and realise that i'm not really any good at this game after all!!!

How do you think Sunday League is at the moment?
i still get enjoyment from it, so it can't be all that bad. It has it's faults, like most things do, but they are not so bad that i don't want to carry on playing. there are a lot of good managers on here that keep you going & make it all worthwhile.
