Interview with David Mac (Lagerfield)

A few seasons ago nobody have heard about him, but since he reached the top league of Conference 7, that he has shown all of his class. Season 74, finally game him not one, but two majors that he already deserved. He is one of the favourites to win the title of "Team of the Year".
The Sunday League Blog visited him and asked him some questions:

How do you feel after winning two majors and Conference 7 this season?
I was over the moon with the season i had. I knew i had a good team but i never imagined i would be able to win 2 majors, especially when there are so many other good teams in Sunday League. The only problem now is that i dont think i will ever be able to better the season ive just had.

What are your expectations for your next season?
To compete for the title in 7-1-1 and maybe even win a couple of games in the Smokey Doubles PL.

What was your hardest opponent this season?
Good question. If its ok i would like to mention a few teams that i have found it very hard to play against. They are (in no particular order) UNIV. CRAIOVA, Anfield Rd Rangers, Lough Derg, Teds Maulers FC, Galatasaray, Ghandis Peace Corp, The Rods and The Borg.

How far do you think you can go in the future?
Unfortunately, i think i have hit my peak and don’t think i will have as good a season as this one again.

Who´s your best friend in SL?
I don’t personally know anyone who plays SL but i would like to think im made a few friends with the other managers.

Whats the hardest competition to win at the moment?
Definitely the Champions of Champions PL (only because i won it.) But in reality probably the friendly league. Im currently working my way up the divisions and hope to make it into FL1 one day.

Whose your favourite team in real life?
Rangers.

Who do you think will win the World Championship in real football?
Brazil

What do you have for hobbies, except SL?
Golf, swimming, football and rugby.

Thanks a lot David, and good luck to your new season.
