Competition: The Best Conference

Sometimes, we wonder wich is the hardest conference of all. Its very easy to decide, its ours and that´s it...
So, i´ve decided to create another ranking, wich will give the same opportunities to all conferences. The competition to take in attention will be the Inter Conference Cup, a competition where all the Conferences start with the same number of teams, and will have to play against the teams from the other Conf.
Each team that reaches the quarters of the ICC will give a point to his Conference, and it will count only the last 5 seasons for this top.
So, this season will be like this:

So, the table for the this Conferences battle will be like this at the moment:

Conference 1 .....9 points
Conference 3......8 points

Conference 4......3 points
Conference 5......1 point
Conference 7......1 point

Like in the Uefa competitions, will count only the last 5 seasons. This means that next season points from Season 74 will be out, and the quarters from season 79 will count.
The First two teams in the ranking will be playing in a private league in the start of the next season (8 teams vs 8 teams). It will count only the points that any team does against the teams from the other conference.
The Conference who holds the title, its the best :)
I would like to do this competition every season.
