With Dave’s permission I am going to give a little insight to his team Hollowlegs the current Conference 1 Champions. As you can see they are sitting in a strong position in 3rd only 3 points behind the leaders Super Imps who have had a great start to the season. Since joining the Smokey server Dave has found it as difficult as the rest of us to lift the conference title and his finishing positions of 3rd, 2nd,3rd,9th,9th then Champions last season shows how tough this conference can be. As well as winning 1-1-1 Dave won the Smokey Doubles A-6 as well as the overall Smokey doubles pl which was a great achievement with the strength of the teams involved. They also seem to enjoy great success in certain PL’s with the Ravens Nest being one of them lifting the title 8 times if my maths is correct. In the FL they have won FL3 and FL2 in their conquest to reach the ultimate FL1. Currently they sit in 9th 10 points off of the leaders but only 5 away from the drop zone !

Dave has varied his squad purchases so that they do not all need replacing at the same time but he is currently going through a massive rebuild with 4 new players already purchased and around 5 players needing to be replaced at some point throughout the season. The players he has bought seem to be star players and this manager must feel like Mancini the way he must be burning money . All I can say is have you got any jobs going at your place Dave? Since my move to smokey Dave has been one of the main characters with the Crazy Cups and Walker v’s Winter battles. So I wish Dave all the Luck and hopefully he can get a bit more time available to get the Crazy gang together again!
