HotM are managed by Lars Harald Hvidsten and are 4th in 1-1-1,although he has lost 4 of his last 6 league games.He got to the S/f of the ICC where he was beaten by nick's Anfield RR.He beat Floriana in the Q/f's of the Shield.He is a previous winner of the ICC and has picked up numerous PL trophies.
Roman Empire are managed by George Antoniadis and they lead 7-2-4 after winning all 28 games and is obviously aiming for 7-1-1.On the way to the S/f he has beaten Biscuit Barrell and West Yorkshire Boys.Another upset on the cards and i go for Roman Empire.

The 2nd s/f has 2 of Smokey's heavyweights going face to face.Lagerfield managed by Dave Mac is 3rd in 7-1-1 and in his 8 seasons at the top has never finsihed lower than 4th and won it 4 times.He is a previous winner of the Shield and Elite Cup along with numerous other PL's.
The Indians are managed by Eric Thompson and lead 8-1-1 by 3 points with 2 games to go.Of his 11 seasons in 8-1-1 he has won it on 6 occassions.He has won the ICC twice and the Shield once as well as his share of PL's.He is in excellent form having won his last 6 league games.A very difficult game to call,but i go for Eric and his Indians.

The Elite Cup semi´s were played last friday, with two big games.
Byron Park F.C. 0 - 1 Ashbourne Road
In a game played with longball and the 5-2-3 formation everthing was possible. The team from the Conference 8 had advantage for most of the game, never changed his tactics and the goal finally came at minute 91.
First major final for Ashbourne Road.
Anfield Rd Rangers 0 - 1 Cubana Villains
Two sides from Conference 1, two rivals in the past three seasons. Since that Cubana has arrived to the top flight of 2-1-1 he always have finished in the runner-up place. It was time for revenge, and this game was going to be played in only one game. Deca was stronger in tactics and he beat his opponent with a goal from the corner scored by Pablo Moralis.
Also the first major final for Cubana.
One of this guys will have his name on the roll of honor wall for the first time.

The 1st semi has frenchy's Byron Park vs brunzwick's Ashbourne Road.The Park top 3-1-1 and are in a 3 team battle for the title.His trophy cabinet overflows with PL successes and he is a previous winner of the ICC and the Elite Cup.Ashbourne Road are currently 11th in 8-1-1 and are just above the relegation battle.On the way to the s/f he has beaten Univ Craiova,Arkansas Indians and the Borg.A close game but i have to go with a 2-0 win for Byron Park.

Friendly League - Season 12 (Final Tables)
And so, the 12th season of the most respected private league in the Sunday League World have finished.
This was one of the closest season we have ever seen in this competition, wich ended with Anfield Rd Rangers wining for the 5th time. 3rd in a row.
The season was real close, until close to the end. Once again, Nick showed all his class. The league was disputed until the last game, and Arkansas Indians finished 2nd just 3 points behind. Arkansas is in a great form, he was 3rd last time.
This season 3rd place is a ex-winner, Biscuit Barrell.
HarriCam had a really bad start, but made a great second half of the season and was 4th, with SL Benfica repeating last season 5th place.

Last season Anfield won with a goal in extra-time, and now he did just the same again.
A game for longball that started with both teams playing defensive. Floriana came to the front in tactics at minute 30, without scoring until 60. He changed again at minute 60 to counter-attack, and it was Nick in front in tactics this time. Finaly the goal came at minute 91, when the game was in extra-time.
With three defeats in majors Floriana continues without wining any major, and Anfield Rd Rangers won his 10th major.

One Badcrazysaxon step up to the winners podium to be offically crowned Champions of the Smokey Doubles (Trebles) Season 10. Well done to Arkansas Indians, Rickys Rovers and The One United. You are the deserved winners of a very difficult competition.
Byron Villains claim the runners-up position. They gave it a good go but were unable to bridge the gap between them and the leaders. They did manage to out point the leaders in the final few games reducing the gap from 19 to just 12 points.
The 3rd place on the podium goes to Balkan Express as they continued their great form and climb up the table and have a 3 point cushion on the teams below. Harrifield Rangerers Uni left it until the last week to show their true form to shoot up the table to 4th over taking Southern Borg Orioles with the help of their superior goal difference.
After trying hard throughout the season the wooden spoon goes to Walpoles Army of Cod. They started the season bottom and were never able to muster enough points to threaten KookaOgre Warriors. It was a valiant effort and I'm sure that the managers will bounce back from this disappointment and take it out on us X-1-1 managers once they are promoted at the end of this season.
Finally, all in all it was a fun and competitive competition with most of the trios being on an equal footing highlighted by the fact that only 10 points seperate 4th down to 10th. We must do it again sometime.

Friendly League - Day 27
I believe that Anfield is destined to be the champion again. Just 3 games to go, and he had 4 points in the lead against Arkansas. It´s going to be really hard to seem him losing this advantage.
