Even losing his Conference on goal average by 8 goals, Wayne Hughes won this season managers table. He is the manager of Sandy United, and won this table for the first time, and he did it with a difference of 8 points from nofirkinchance f.c.
Just a curiosity, Sandy United was the only team of the x-1-1 to end in this season´s top 10. Congratulations mate.

The Champions Shield Final: Lagerfield 1 - 0 Anfield Rd Rangers

This was going to be the game of the season. Two truly champions, they both won their Conferences last season, and did it again this time. We all know Anfield from all the things that he won since the big move, and it seems like Lagerfield is going on the same way.
Once again a major final for 5-2-3. Once again games in longball played with 5-2-3 prooved that are not the fairest thing. Both teams new what expected from this game, and for sure set up for a randoom winner. The winning goal came in the extra time for Lagerfield when he was down in tactics. Nick must be ungry, but its part of the game. An amazing thing is that its the third major this seson played in this conditions. Come on Catgames! We want to see goals :D
With this win, its the second major won this season by David Mac, and his team is in a good condition to be nominated Team of the Season. We will see it in a few days :)

SL Blog League

The blog will have his first official private league. It will be between followers of this site, and everyone is free to enter. The password for the league is "chickenbrain" and to do it you just have to go to the private leagues and look for one called "SL Blog League" and enter this password.
This league will be played every 3 days, between 10 managers and will have full coverage of this site. I just hope to have 10 readers lol.

Elite Cup Final - Lagerfield 1 - 0 Football Kingz FC

Elite Cup final was played last night in a game between Lagerfield and Football Kingz FC .
I guess that Lagerfield was the favourite but it was a game for longball, with both teams using 5-2-3. Abything can happen.
After minute 30, the game was completly dominated by Lagerfield but he only managed to score on minute 91. Fair win, could have been by 2 or 3 goals if it was a game for passing.
David Mac, in great form this season, wons his first major in the server, but soon, in a few days, he can win his second if he beats Nick Jolley. I would say that this will be the game of the season...

Division Games - Final Tables (Season 74)

I have to admit, this was one of the most amazing seasons that we´ve seen in this server since the big move. Almost all of the Conferences just knew their winner, exactly in the last day, with suspense until the end.
I will do a little review of all the 8 conferences, next.

Conference 1
Nick Jolley was already the supreme leader of Conference 2, and is now trying to take over Conference 1. For a while, it looked that he was really dominating but in the end he was almost losing the title for The Rods, winning only on goal average.
Madbastid United came next, 5 points behind, and the previous winner Donkalonk ending in 4th with 13 points below. Heroes of The Man was a surprise, bring the I.C.C. title to Conference 1.
At the bottom, bad to see CHELSEA FC X going down, but he was rebuilding the team.
Next season The Jakes are in this conference, and can be another strong team to battle for the title.


Conference 2
Not much to say, in this conference. Anfield Rd Rangers doesn´t seem to have any team to battle against him. That´s the 7th title, in 9 seasons, and again with a big difference for the second place. The best of the rest was Gladiators, a manager i know from the old Mogzilla server. my_cats_hate_you, BigBobbyZoro, HH Beticos and Tottenham Hotspur came next, but very far away from the leader. Lookout for Northwest Rags, next season.


Conference 3
This one, only knew his winner on the last day, and only after Sandy United drew against the team in 3rd place. Byron Park F.C. must be happy for his first Conference title, but Sandy United will win the managers table, almost for sure.
Another bad season for Chasing Memories, ending out of I.C.C. places and it seems that Davi is going down.
One of the Ty´s teams (A.C.Upstreet) is going up, and certainly will give some fight.


Conference 4
Another Conference wich only knew his champion on the last day. A big surprise was the defeat of Kookaburra against Footballin Kingz wich gave the title for Floriana FC. His first Division title, after last season won the FL1.
KF PrIsHtInA-LiVe (flamur) and THE ELITE (manuck)came next, not very far away.
INTER STELLA D.C had a disappointing season, but ended in the ICC places.


Conference 5
Brian and his Biscuits are now the team with more division titles in a row, after winning last night Conference 5. He was almost losing the title for Attack Attack Consilidated, a newcomer, but won it in the end with just one more point than his opponent. Really unlucky for the manager from Indonesia, but í´m sure he will do a great challenge again next season.
The two portuguese brothers ended next, and the 5th place gone for another newcomer Football Kingz FC wich is also in the final of the Elite Cup.
Teams like The One United and Pitorrilhas, ended out of the ICC, and Stow Wanderers with Lisboa Mafia are going down.


Conference 6
Mister Andrew Lane conquered the title for the second time in a row. He had a very regular season and let his bigger opponent, The Killers, 8 points behind. With all the other teams ending more than 10 points behind.
Very disappointed season for HarriCam Wanderers, always a team to race for the title, and two previous champs in this Conference, are out of the ICC: US Ebrohiques and Ravens of England.
Fivehundred or less can give a lot of fight next season. Its managed by Russ Sims, i know him very well.


Conference 7
Second title in a row for Lagerfield, one of the best teams of the moment. Once again he´s been dominating the season almost since the start, but in the end won it with just 3 points in the lead. He still have a conce to be the manager of the season, cause he´s playing two major finals: CS and Elite Cup.
Well played for Simpsons Hammers FC, ending in second, with 5 points of advantage against Jaziri - Galatasaray.
Next season Castle Ford Warriors and Stonehenge are going up, wich will made the conference muck more competitive for sure.


Conference 8
What a great season it was in Conference 8. After winning this season FL1 FC Haag Utd was almost winning Conference 8 too, but he lost it in the last day, against a team wich was relegated. Stuar Clement manager of Valleys Commandos won the Conference on his return to 8-1-1. He was relegated 2 seasons ago, and had his comeback in style. another returner, Mihai, also ended in great form, finishing in 3th. He was also second in the Friendly League.
After them came the usual suspects, with Rickys Rovers not getting a place on the ICC and Corinthian Clowns not being relagated by a miracle. Sporting Clube PT is saying goodbye to 8-1-1, maybe he´s winning on farmville lol.
Next season is my team who´s returning to 8-1-1. Good to see you all soon.

Champions Shield - Semi-final

It looks that we will have two Conference Champions in the final. Lagerfield repeats his presence in the major finals, after reaching the same level in the Elite Cup. He´s doing a perfect season, and if he wins both majors can have a great chance to be the manager of the year. On the other side it will be the all poweful Anfield Rd Rangers, who already lost the final on the ICC, and have a great chance to win in this competiton. Its the 13th major final of Nick inthis server, most of them after the big move.

So, there are just three games to the end of the season, and we will now take a look how are things in every Conference.

Conference 1
At some point of the season looked like Nick was going to dominate this Conference, like he does in Conf. 2. After his defeat last night at the hands of Nortee anything can happen. The Rods can have something to say in this end of the season, and, why not, Madbastid United. From the surprises this season, i think that the biggest was Super Imps. He is 7th but is close to not very far away from the top sides. A word also for Heroes of the Man, for winning ICC.

The same teans has last season, are again in the race for the title. Kookaburra have some advantage, with more 2 points has Floriana FC. Flamur is in third place, but its going to be hard to reach the 1st place.

Conference 5
What a fantastic season in Conference 5. It was already one of the hardest Conferences but the teams promoted this time made it even harder. Two of them are in the top 3 at the moment, and one of them can even win it. The race for the title has been reduced just to two teams, the Campions Biscuit Barrell and the newcomer Attack Attack Consilidated. Mobtrio is leading at the moment, with 2 points in the lead, but can he handle the pressure? Also a great word for other newcomer, Football Kingz FC. He is 3rd at the moment and is in the Elite Cup Final.

It looks like Ghandis Peace Corp is going to take the Conference for the third time in his career. With 3 games still to play (one of them against a relegated team) and 6 points in the lead, is going to be hard for the Killers to get to the top. I think that with a win tonight against Jedi Knights, Andrew Lane can consider himself champion again.

It seems that at this moment, there is no one in this Conference to battle against Lagerfield. He seems to be tired of dominating this competition and is now trying to win majors. At the moment he is on the final of Elite Cup and semi-final of Champions Shield. Very far away from him came Simpsons Hammers FC and Galatasaray that seems to be the hardest teams in Conference not counting with Lagerfield.

Conference 8
Many call them the hardest Conference, but this time the Conference failed completly in all the three majors. But they did great in the Friendly League with 3 teams in the top 4. The winner of FL1 FC Haag Utd has been dominating all season, but is followed by close from the promoted Valleys Commandos who is now the only other team who can reach to the title. I hope next season another promoted team can do the same. ;)

Elite Cup - Semi-Finals

Last thursday were played the semi-finals of the Elite Cup, and looks like we will have two teams in the final for the first time on the server.

Sandy United 0 - 1 Football Kingz FC
Lagerfield 2 - 1 Super Imps

One side we will have Lagerfield wich has been dominating Conference 7 in the last few seasons, and on the other side Football Kingz FC, who has been doing an amazing season also. Third at the moment in Conference 5, one of the hardest, and also won his FL division.
Big game is expected for the final. Good luck to both teams.

Friendly League Season 7 - Final Tables

What a great finish we had. Two teams with changes to win in the last day. Mihai was leading, but he loose his last game and Daniel won the League. I believe he deserved, he was the most regular across the season. Lets take a look at all the tables, from division 1 to the Conference:
